As we have been seeing and discussing here for some time, now, the listener
that makes this conclusion would, in fact, be quite correct.

Or perhaps "all sizzle, and no steak". (On AM, that "sizzle" is quite
obnoxious!)

Indeed. Those promos are about as useless as useless can be. "Deceptive"
might even be a good word to use, because they *deceive* people by omission of
critically important information! "We're broadcasting in HD!" tells people
absolutely nothing that will help them figure out what is going on or how to take
advantage of it. (Or be taken advantage *of*, RE: the still-high prices &
less-than-stellar performance of the radios.)

"Yet"... There's something disturbing about that word... this system has been
on-the-air in most major markets for *how* long, now? Stations are still
expanding and adding it... and "Yet" the *vast majority* of consumers still have
no clue about it or interest in it... and the stations running it are
hopelessly dropping the ball regarding building any kind of listener interest! Gads!!
<:/ Surely, this track record is doomed to failure. Where else could it
possibly lead?
Before, when you typed "Miserable Failure" into Google, it brought up a page
about President Bush. (It doesn't anymore, BTW) Instead, it *should* bring up
the IBUZ hype site. ;) So far, that is what it is. Expensive, too.
