Actually, it does. It didn't take off. It grew gradually over a lot
of years. Maybe I'm sensitive to the suggestion of instant success
because of the blather coming from the HD Dominion's press releases
that would lead one to believe the IBUZ receivers are "flying off the
shelf." It's hype of the lowest order. There's a revolution no one can find.

Your post contains very good, valid points. I also dislike hype as you do. My
point was that FM became a success, rather than suggesting how long the
success took. I certainly hope that HD becomes successful in less time than it
took for FM. It will require a lot of creative thinking to make it all work. HD
will have to deliver something that the audience wants, but they cannot find
elsewhere.
