Donna,

I was forwarded your request regarding WINF.  The station in 
Winnsboro, SC has been dark for a number of years.  It operated in 
the late 50s thru the 70s as the only radio station in 
Winnsboro.  Frequency was 1250 and daytime power was 500 Watts.  To 
the best of my knowledge, the station signed off in the mid to late 
70s, never to return to the airways.  Winnsboro is about 30 miles 
north of Columbia, SC.

I hope this will help.  You may find additional information in a 
local library that has old editions of the Broadcasting Yearbook.
