Sample line laying on the ground? At least I'm assuming that is what's
draped over the top of the fence.
Stretches of coax above ground aren't that uncommon from what I've seen,
but up here code requires them to be at least 12' above ground and tied to
a messenger cable for support. Grounding them every 20' or so is always a
nice touch too. ;)
What a mess. Sadly it's not that uncommon anymore.

I thought radio station gates were supposed to be
closed and locked. Are stretches of coax above
ground the usual? Isn't it customary to have the
tower base above ground? How often should a
tower be painted? I took some photos of a three-tower station in Oak
