Look up a PL-259 and you see the same picture of a BNC.
I plan to contact R&J Components next week to determine availability and
pricing as I need a couple of connectors
myself.

Bob,

I called R&J Friday and they will only sell them in lots of 5 pieces at $20
each.  Maybe you could go in with others who want these connectors and order
five pairs at $200.  $20/connector appears to be a pretty good price.  A
decent silver-plated type-N tee probably costs that much, or more.
