Rich,
What success? Bob is just a small business man who just happens to
enjoy these little stations. The songwriters (especially all the ones in
Nashville) are a bunch of hungry, greedy, bastards, that want to suck
every drop of blood out of you they can.
They have been on the 6 PM local newscast here in this market and
demonstrated how BMI and ASCAP should get more out of the "little man".
Alan Jackson recorded a song back in the late 90's about the little man,
but I bet he said screw the little AM radio station in the small towns
that play my music, charge the crap out of them.
The how thing is unfair! Rich, I bet you've never been down south of
PA to see how these little AM stations struggle to stay on. I've seen a
lot of them got dark because of this crap!
Scott

It's not a matter of heart. If you show in the ratings your ad rates
go up and your license fees follow. Success can have a downside.
