I remember talking to Vince's wife right after they installed the Valcom. I hadn't heard of it at the time.
That was over a year ago, perhaps two years. Last fall I was traveling to our transmitter site and wanted 
to see how their signal was a county away and was surprised at how solid it was. I tried to find the
studio/tx location one day and was close but couldn't see it. Our ops manager later told me that they
are in a residential area and it is hard to notice the Valcom.

They also operate 1350 in York with the same programming (ESPN). AFAIK, they are still using a Harris
MW-5A there. I don't recall the audio quality between the two stations as being very different. 
I didn't do a critical test other than using my VW radio.

John, co-owner with Vince and also a local contract engineer, use to do work at WJUN. I wonder where
they used it first.
