As someone who has "deafened the masses" (my term for FOH mix) for a
couple of decades, I ALWAYS wear earplugs at concerts (except at a
Gordon Lightfoot show I attended about 15 years ago - one could have a
normal conversation during it and I swear he ran a click track but I
digress)
