Fact: Rosie was NOT dismissed. Her departure
is a result of the inability to negociate contract 
terms. She wanted a one year contract, ABC
wanted a three year term. Rosie is leaving The
View, she was NOT canned. Barbara Walters
echoed this on today's episode. Know the facts
before posting.

Rosie is not afraid to speak her mind. She has
taken on very powerful men: Donald Trump,
Rupert Murdoch. She did express herself at
the Matrix Awards. Haven't we seen this 
in public before? Nothing new.

I recall a story some years ago about Me'Shell
Ndegeocello, a singer from Maryland. She was
shopping for a record label without success. She
vsiited Maverick, Madonna's label. She told Madonna
about her lack of success and said she had three
things working against her from the start. She's
black, a woman and bisexual. Madonna signed her.

Women earn less then men for the same job and
with similar or superior qualifications. Women who
are strong and outspoken intimidate men. Poor
Rosie is just being pushed around by men who
are using her as a punching bag. She punches
back. Just like Dr. Laura.

I don't want to take this off topic rant too far, however,
hurling insults and false claims at Rosie just isn't fair.
Bet you don't even know who did the song "Nappy Heads"
