[BC] Dampening Slider Movement On A Soundcraft Mixer

I have a Soundcraft mixer but the sliders move too freely for 
my preference.

Is there something like a felt pad I could put under the 
slider knob to dampen the movement?  Could micro particles 
wear off the pad and cause a problem inside the mixer?
