[BC] Buying AM Transmitters

Dave,
A good product you guys should consider is marketing a 250 watt,
portable MW box that you can move from site to site, where it's needed.
I have no clue why somebody doesn't do this.
I would buy one if someone would build it and make the box capable to
change frequency in the field with dip switches.

Continental no longer makes an AM transmitter. I know this because
Dave
Hultsman said so.

Larry:

Thanks for the quote. I was incorrect in that we do manufacture AM
Shortwave transmitters from 50 kW. to 500 kW. and specialized MW AM
transmitters
greater than 100 kW. At the time of your question, I believe we were
discussing
domestic MW transmitters.

Our domestic USA AM Broadcast business was discontinued in 2001. But
watch
out you never know when "We'll be back".

Thanks for stopping by at the NAB and it was very good to see you
again.

Dave Hultsman
