One thing I DON'T like about buying a new transmitter, and this goes out
to all of you transmitter manufactures.....you can't test drive it
before you buy it! Everybody situation and needs are different, just
like buying a new car.

Somebody else asked me about Energy Onix because they knew that in a
different life I worked a short while for CCA, one of Bernie Wise's
companies. So, I tried to find something that was NOT written by
Bernie's advertising department. Basically, I tried to find some DIRT!

This is what they think of Energy Onix in New Delhi, India:

"Energy-Onix is US third largest premier manufacturer of excellent
quality highly reliable & leading edge transmitter products with record
of selling one ECO FM Transmitter per day giving privilege to user by
owning American made transmitter with (Single/Three phase operative)
years of "trouble free" minimum maintenance & easy operational broadcast
equipments."

>From others I learned that practically every new model had berthing
problems BUT once discovered they were promptly fixed. Also, products
that have been designed a year or two ago, i.e., not so "leading edge,"
were reliable and worked "right out of the box." So, from what I hear,
Bernie has an engineering staff that knows what it is doing, has
production workers that know how to build, test, and ship stuff, plus he
keeps a sharp reign on the company to help (re)build and maintain its
reputation. If I were to build or rebuild a station, I'd certainly
consider them especially if low cost was an important consideration.

No, this is not an ad! I don't particularly like the man, and working
for him about 30 years ago was not a good experience. However, his
company now has stuff that works!
