[BC] Bitrates

I'm writing an article on digital broadcasting systems and I'm 
looking for some information.... So, what is the typical bitrate used 
for digital AM (IBAC)? What is the maximum bitrate that can be used? 
I suppose IBAC uses HDC codec?

(Btw, has anybody performed a blind HE-AAC vs HDC test at the same 
bitrate to determine the quality difference between the two?)

What are the typical and maximum bitrates used on XM and Sirius? 
Which codecs do they use?
