[BC] What ever happen to AMAX

With all the IBUZ stations cutting off response at 5 kHz these days, it seems
to me that just about ANY receiver could be considered an AMAX receiver now.
We have dumbed down the transmitters to match the sucky receivers. Are we
proud of ourselves and what we've done?

Any processor that met NRSC standards could be considered AMAX.. and that
included the 9100, the Inovonics 235, the CRL systems and the Omnia
processors for AM.
