When we were inspected by the Detroit office two years ago, the inspector
wanted to see both the log and the printed slip.

He was very happy that the slips weren't just shoved in a "cigar box" as he
often found them.

He was very impressed with our logging procedure. I have pre-printed buck
slips that I attach to the weeks logs (yes I still do require our operators
to take readings and check tower lights) listing date and time of all test
received from our required monitoring sources and when we sent our test. I
also attach the computer printout from the Sage unit and keep everything in
a two hole data binder for the required time period.
