A station in San Luis Obispo ran something like that 10 or more years ago.
You called a 900 number to record your ad. It then went on the air.
Payment was handled by the 900 charge. It ran for a few months, then
switched to another format.

I'm really seeing FMeXtra as a replacement for subscription SCA services.
It offers better quality, better security, an access authorization method,
and fits where their existing SCA is. SCA users are already used to buying
special receivers. I see this as really expanding SCA use for specialized
audio program distribution. And, THANKS Lyle for spending so much time
showing me the system!
