The real reason we can't get a new crowd elected is because everyone is
convinced that it is the OTHER congressmen who are the problem. They're bad,
but OUR Congress-critter is OK. Unfortunately (or not), we don't vote for
the OTHER people's Representatives, so we can't vote them out. Thus we wind
up with the same people re-elected over and over and over.....there's never
very much new blood in Congress. This was why term limits were suggested.
I'll take newcomers learning how to do the job over corrupt and "already
know the system" incumbents any day. The incumbents know the "system" way
too well IMO.
