[BC] Deth knell for Internat Radio has sounded

It won't matter. There's a ten year window for Internet radio. The window has
about five years left. There are already many good USA Internet stations-Radio
Paradise is a ggood example-that can not afford to stay in business thanks to
this ruling. They will be replaced with offshore stations. Once the window
closes, a change in RIAA attitude won't do squat, becauase listener habits
will already be set-on offshore stations.
This will wind up COSTING artists, but like Scotgt says it's not about $$. t's
about control.
The RIAA is like a tantruming child that wants his ice cream forever, even
though it's melting away. Problem is, they have most of the lawyers, judges
and Congres sin their back pocket.
The pure corruption in our political system today really makes me want to
puke.
Time for the revolution, baby- and I don't mean an armed one. I mean one where
people finally get so fed up they vote ALL these crooks and cronies out!
But I'm not holding my breath waiting for ti to happen....

That mentality is only going to last for so long, I hope!

The fees were never the issue. The prohibition of streaming has always
been the issue. This is what the RIAA has always wanted--no digital
transmission of music anywhere, anyways, anyhow.
