Why not "Open-Source" it? Why kill it? Let others continue to keep it alive, 
update it, etc! Why axe something useful? There are plenty of folks out there 
who would pick this up, if for no other reason, than the love of doing it. :) 
By making it Open Source, you'd eliminate the risk of someone else grabbing it 
and turning it into a for-profit venture at your expense.

Please don't "kill" it.
