I wrote a useful, fun and indeed interesting program to plot the
patterns of AM stations in Region 2. The last time this program was
attended to was in July of 2006. The database has not been updated
since and of course this means that although a high percentage
of patterns are correct, it can't really be considered
completely trustworthy. Some stations have gone
dark, others may have been added. The work to
update the database is kind of complex, involving
reading the FCC data and letting the computer stay
up all night sorting information. (Poor thing!)
This was done as a "freebie" and I now have to make a
decision. Since I am involved with things
that are far more lucrative, I hesitate to spend any
more time on that program or its database.
Questions: Should I leave it posted and simply
ignore updates? Should I pull it? Should I update
it but charge for the updates? My first choice is,
frankly, to pull it.
The program's description is at:

Comments and suggestions as to the program's future are welcome!
