[BC] Automation suggestion needed

I am serious about my automation, but..for right now, I don't have a PC I
can dedicate to installing Linux on and trying out Rivendell before putting
it on the air.
I have a PC that someone just donated to me, but I haven't hooked it up or
anything yet and another computer I'm going to get isn't even here yet.
i don't want to install an Operating System or Automation system I'm not
familiar with on the only computer I've got for on air use, incase something
goes wrong.
