[BC] New $99 HD Radio

After hearing all the spots on the local stations promoting HD radio, I
decided to check out the display at our local Fry's.  They even had a
display card showing all the stations and what they were programming.  The
Clear Channel country station has supposed to have Classic Country on HD-2.
It was all dead air.  Another Clear Channel station was listed as having
oldies on HD-2.  Again, just dead air.  One of the Beasley stations
supposedly had a party mix on HD-2.  Still, just dead air.  The Beasley
station also had NOAA weather radio on HD-3 and that was working, but is
anybody gonna pay $100 or more for an HD radio just to hear NOAA weather
radio?  Does Radio Shack sell $40 radios for that?  If the industry is going
to promote HD radio and encourage listeners to buy the radios, then we have
a responsibility to program something other than dead air.
