Off subject but your last made me think of another fella from
Collins/Continental by the name of Dave Chenowith, Bout the smartest
man I ever met. I'd only been in radio a few years when I met him at
a one day engineers summit n Grand Junction, Colo. Maybe 1995/6
He made quite an impression on me, haven't heard of him since.
Gotta be up there in years now, I believe he had a hand in developing
some of the first Collins rigs. I grew up on a 816R, (KKOR) Gallup,best
machine I ever worked with.
