I just ran a search for more info on the Jerrold CATV field strength
meters. The old workhorse was the Model 704, there's even a "Loyal
Order" of users!

I also found this VERY in-depth interview with the late Ken Simons,
who designed the Jerrold 704. He got his start in ham radio, then was
a transmitter operator at WIBG, then worked for WCAU and RCA. You
old-timers will enjoy this. I'll read it too, when I have a few
hours!
