[BC] Hard Drive woes

I have never actually had issues with Seagate product but I have had failures with Maxtor. When talking with IT and engineering staff, it's interesting to note how many have really strong preferences one way or another. Someone will have issues with Seagate but not Maxtor or Western Digital but not Seagate etc. It's almost like a personal relationship! Knowing the warranty policy is key. Some have very limited warranties and the customer may have only a few months left upon receipt of the drive. One supplier I can definately get behind is Newegg. I still use alot of SCSI stuff. Some of my machines are running the SAS drives.
