Legal issues aside, I do not think you are going pass the required FM frequency-response or
noise specifications using an AM transmitter as a STL. Maybe the FCC doesn't require proof-of-
performance anymore?? Certainly, the other way around would work, i.e., using a FM transmitter
and rebroadcast receiver as an AM STL. But, you still need to remote-control the transmitter.
