[BC] Boring vs exciting transmitters

None of the Omnitronix transmitters I have ever worked on
even came close to being boring or interesting.

All of them were frustrating, Frustrating,
FRUSTRATING. Arcs between HV traces, bad filter caps, bad
FET's, bad support. Standing on your head to retap power
transformers for the 3rd time this year. Just
frustrating. Except for some power savings, NO better than
the worn out old transmitters they replaced.

Good gravy...

Give me a *boring*, *reliable* transmitter *any* day, over
an "exciting" (or
even "interesting") one! ;)

I would *much* rather have a box that just sits there and
hums along year in
and year out, than one that gave me some "exciting" event
every so often!
...wouldn't you?? ;)

In this case, *Boring* is *good*!

Willie...
