[BC] Gates early solid state consoles

I cannot recall and have been meaning to see if I have schematics of the early version withe the 2N1414 and the later version with the 2N1307's. Someone else has probably already checked this and know if it was just the transistors or were there bias and or circuitry changes.
May try to look that up this week if I get to stay home before leaving the NAB.

Exactly right, Dave. I was referring to the line level signals.
You said in a previous email, "As I recall Gates/Harris changed the input transistor for a 2N1414 to a 2N1307." Was that a drop-in or did it require a new circuit board?
