It's the high-powered radiator in the old KGIL 5 kW DA-N array.

As usual, the current distribution was something like 1.0 /_ - something, 
2.0/_ 0, 1.0/_ + something, with 2.0 going into the wire, which is 
top-loaded.

That station went through many changes, from 1 kW DA-2 to 5 kW-D, 1 kW-N, 
DA-2, to 5 kW DA-2, to its present high(er)-powered operation.

The former presence of 1240 in Pasadena mandated operating with the night 
DA during some days.

All four radiators are series-excited, but only the vertical wire is 
top-loaded.
