I also wrote a similar software package several years back for Broadcast Tools which I think they
still offer, but in a newer and revised version. Check with them.

Telos has been selling that kind of software for years to go with their phone
interfaces. Gentner also made it for theirs, but I believe they;re gone. Not
sure if Comrex makes one-though a call screener is integrated into their STAC
system (which runs on free BSD by the way).
The Telos software was originally written for me at the old WHDH in 1990 by a
guy named Charlie Case. I noticed the serial ports on the Telos 100 and called
Charlie to see if we could integrate them into some kind of screener software
(we were using software written for the RS Color Computer at the time). The
original software used CGA cards and displayed 40 column composite video on a
standard video monitor. It ran in DOS on a 286 with two megs of RAM.
It worked so well that Telos licensed it from Charlie and the rest is
history....
