It was *sent* intact, as confirmed by the "SENT MAIL" folder (which is where
I retieved the intact version, BTW.) So when I re-sent it, I used
theirWEB-based kludge, since that doesn't add that stupid tagline.
I suspect that this is just another symptom of the problems that surfaced
once they started adding that stupid tag-line. That was when we started having
the headaches here with this Forum by them randomly (yes, *randomly!*) injectin
g
HTML codes into the messages, completely out of user control. Barry and I
went back and forth with this several times. Regardless of what I do, here, my
guess is that AOL's load-sharing system is assigning the e-mails to various
servers, each of which must be configured differently! Thus, the randomness and
frustration. It wasn't there, before, but it is starting to cause me to
*seriously* consider dropping AOL once and for all. >:[
It is also what I suspect is causing the line-wrap to chop the last two
characters off of lines, and put them onto a new line, then start the next line
below that. It *all started* when they started that stupid tag-line CRAP!
