Wow,
I didn't realize WDJM's antenna was that short! Come to think of it,
back in 1999 when I replaced my old windcharger antenna, I could have
put up a 60' tower, with a folded unipole, which would have gave me over
the required minimum efficiency required by the commission for Class
D's, and being I'm on 1560, it would have worked well!
The way all the storms blow over this area, this is good to know. If
my tower blew down, I could throw up a 60' tower, with a 3 wire unipole
and get back on with very decent coverage.

Elizabeth, NJ's 1530 WJDM uses a folded unipole antenna that is only
about
50 feet tall. Its electrical height is 57.7 degrees, and according to
my
rough math, that comes out to about 100 feet -- twice of its physical
height.
