This is a good idea. Something like a special section on the FCC site- where 
the station's PF information is entered via a basic WEB-based interface using 
WEB-forms. I think there would tend to be a lot less omissions, errors, and 
thus fines this way.

Obviously, a WEB-based PF comes with it's own can-o-worms, because spammers & 
"bots" could sweep through these pages, (unless they use those distorted 
letter/number authentication things) making a headache for stations everywhere. 
With a few safeguards, this may well be the best way to go. It would certainly 
force Licensees to be much more dilligent in keeping that online PF up-to-date 
and accurate: the FCC can "take a peek" at any time and without warning. So 
can competitors and/or malcontents without the station even knowing. Scary 
thought, eh?

Maybe we really are better off with the current system... just modernize it a 
bit.
