We use them and they work very well. A friend of mine who has a 
recording/post studio actually replaced his much costlier Focusrite 
TwinTrak Pro compressor for this dbx box. He also liked it very much. 
The compressor has only two controls (Drive and Density) but seems to 
do an excellent job on vocals :-)
