I knew a CE that used to go into the GMs office complaining about this that
and the other, then toss his pager and keys on the desk and walk out. About
3 hours latter he would show back up at the station and go to his office
to find his Keys and Pager sitting on the desk.
He would then go back to work and this went on for several years until that
GM left.
Then things went down hill quick and the station was sold and everybody was
let go.
