Just curious...what diameter C band dish is involved?

This particular installation has occasional dropouts.  Probably a couple per
hour.  They can't afford a new dish, so a used set of the extenders is the
cheapest bet.

I did put a set on, and it made a slight difference.  Bad weather didn't
cause as many dropouts.  In the northeast, that low look angle to the west
makes a fine weather radar.  Approaching thunderstorms would kill the signal
maybe 15-30 minutes before the storm hit.

When I put these on, I made sure they were aligned as evenly with the
original dish surface as possible.  The overall alignment was noticeably
better than the common screen mesh dishes.  C-Band isn't anywhere near as
fussy as Ku.

So, if anyone has a set they can part with cheap, I'm interested.  All I
need are the panels.  I'll get new hardware locally.
