I've heard similar inspiring music from big record companies. Luckily it
didn't make it to air.

I've heard some of their stuff on This American Live
(http://www.thislife.org). One really good story on TAL was recorded and
edited on a cassette deck, just starting and stopping the tape. This isn't
music programming, but there IS talent out there. I hear a lot of good new
(live) stuff on Please Stand By Sunday mornings on KPIG.
