Way too many memories going on here. I worked for Knox at KSTN in Stockton in 1968. After about 2 or so months of 114 degree car seats and lousy pay I went back to the KFRC engineering department. He just died recently. He was in his 80's. Interesting guy. He treated me well....except in the salary department. But I was young and wanted to do Top-40. KSTN was king then. That request line NEVER stopped ringing. I think the whole city listened.
