And I see no reason why you cannot charge them for your time. If $
85 /hr is your normal rate, OT is 50% and emergency is double. If they
claim that you are paid for by your station, have your station bill them.
No reason to let an un professional group get off scott free. And
the station can bill them for air time loss. Thats what the tower
company has insurance for.

And it is my experience, that despite cell phones, 95% of tower
crews are incapable of notifying anyone with less than 20 minutes notice.,

    Here's my one question:

We all know that the proper level of RFR for a climb through has to
be calculated. (my term, climb through, for the space where tower
climber is in the aperture of a side mounted antenna) Yet, at my one
site, where I am a tenant, I have had three different tower companies
tell me to go to 25% power. I then ask then if I am a standard class B,
running 21 KW into a 5 bay, if 5 kw into the 5 bays, or 1kw per pay,
would make them happy. They pause, do the math, and say, sure! My
station runs 1.8 kw TPO into 3 bays, or 600 watts a bay. Yet they want
that to be reduced to 25% !

Again, I believe the true level needs to be calculated, but is
this new math that says that 600 per bay is dangerous and 1kw per bay is OK?
