Shelby, thank you for your update. Starting with your ground system is the
correct approach. Keep in mind that it should be a 'star' ground to one
point with no loops. Proper grounding, as you know is important to
eliminate hum as well as minimize RF interference.
Tell us if the station is AM or FM. That alters the 'correction algorithm'.
In either case, begin with the grounding. A competent electrician will
supply you with safe grounding, but may be clueless concerning audio or RF
requirements.
