Ah, that's the rub: this is not a debugging exercise.  We're faced not with
bugs, but a fundamental design flaw.  There is no engineering solution,
short of throwing the system on the scrap heap and starting over.

Well, that's what I thought but being the eternal optimist I tried to put a
positive spin on all this. Then it is a square peg in a round hole scenario.
Well, as I said, we'll have to see how all this plays out.
