I am with Kent 100% on this! And I cannot wait until I turn on my 
first AM IBOC in the next 60 days so I can find out for myself if 
what has been stated on this list is true or not. As far as the FM's 
here HD fixes 99% of multipath problems here. Which I am all for!

You too could call me a cheerleader but the simple fact from where I 
am sitting is if we don't do something we will lose our industry to 
ever-evolving medias like cellular, wisp's/internet, tivo, ipod and 
many others!

Remember the FCC said develop IN BAND technology not Ibiquity. I am 
surprised that that isn't debated more then how bad IBOC by Ibiquity is.

Imagine a band created where we could set the bitrates to whatever we 
want and do 5.1 or truly HD radio...........oh wait Im sleep typing again.

It was not my intention to try to eliminate dissent, but to have a
quality discussion.  Yes there are issues with HD Radio.  They need to
be discussed and discussed in a manner (IMHO) where we can make
improvements.  Like it or not, it is here.
