I realize this is going to sound negative, but along with Bob I 
prefer SIRIUS. To me XM sounds too much like radio. It's processing 
is less fatiguing to my ears and the programming is less like what I 
get for free. Of course, I listen in the car and on computer 
speakers. I long ago disconnected both services from my stereo system 
because of the fatigue.

As good as my car system is, it's still entertainment quality because 
of the noisy environment. On long trips I find myself tuning away 
from satellite after a relatively short period and going back to CD.

I find CDs positively better.
