Nope.
Both transmitters are still in operation. They are GPS synced and fed audio
that's time aligned.
I understand the beat period between them is now measured in hours.....
They have been in constant use since 1936.

In the early 70s I worked at Wang Labs in Tewksbury, about mid point
between the 2 sites. This was long before I knew about synchronous
transmitters and wondered why WLLH was unlistenable there...all phase-y
and distorted.
Does the Lawrence site still exist? I'd heard it had been shut off.
