[BC] Off-site server space

I have found the off site storage companies are more expensive than the
hosting companies. I have 5 different URL's that have 2 Gig of offsite
storage each with FTP access for 8.95 per month each URL. I keep a web
presence and email on a couple of them and a placeholder on the other 3 and
use the storage for daily business backups. Found it much cheaper and the
same result. On my financial data, I encrypt it before storing it to keep
it safe.

Works like a charm for me.

However, I now have a Fiber cable going to my home now with 15 Meg down and
2 meg up service and am experimenting with my own hosting. But I will
probably still keep an off site service with verified backup and redundancy
for storage.

Pretty good for the most part. Sid, you may want to wrap an off-site server
mission into a larger, disaster-recovery requirement for your IT plant....
