Something will have to go. Or we can have a Bloomberg-style screen on 
those new DVD monitors facing the driver. Think human codecs. You can 
squeeze one more task in between shaving, applying makeup (gender 
specific, in most cases), drinking/eating, text messaging/cell calls, 
handheld computers/Palms and an occasional glance at the road.

If they're indoors, a quick check of the school's web site should do 
it and let them get back to bed or, disappointed, get ready for 
school. In my area there are many cities competing with each other 
for that slow TV scroll under Katie and Matt's puffy interview with 
some instant superstar starlet.
