V66 (John's TV station) was forced off the air by MTV, who told all the record
labels they would not play any videos on MTV who were also offered to ANY
other music stations which operated over six hours a day.
This killed ALL over the air TV music stations like V-66, U-68 in NYC and a
few others.
The idea was a good one - but (once again) was killed by politics.

You're right. WNTN went on the air long after I left the city.
