Since there are no known problems with IBUZ why would a station in 
the middle be "fighting back?" WBIX is a Business News station. I've 
never seen that format garner ratings. However, they're often very 
profitable with local brokered programming. WBIX has as much right to 
exist as anyone else. It's also one of the few locally owned stations 
in the market. Alex Langer owns a few stations in the region.

WILD is owned by Lanham, MD (or Augusta, NC), based Radio One and WBZ 
is owned by New York based CBS Corp. So far as I know, Alex lives 
about 20 miles from Boston. That makes him the local guy.

I thought we liked local ownership.
