[BC] Mini Discs - Good or ?

We're looking in to portable Mini disc recorders for some on - site news
and comments gathering. Comments? The small Sony's in the 350-500 range
are what is under consideration.

Anyone tried the HI-MD format stuff? How's the audio quality, and ease of
transfer to a PC for production edits (our interest is to get reasonably
high quality files in to a PC and edit using Audition).
