This is how I have felt about it all along.  With FM stereo, there was a
system that was available to use if the station owner so desired.  Most of
the smaller stations implemented FM stereo as the money in the budget became
available since it meant new consoles and studio equipment along with the
stereo generators and processors needed.  I have had several of my smaller
clients ask me about the system.  I advised them to wait and not jump in the
pool just yet.  Let the bigger groups and other pioneers take the arrows in
their backs first and to give it a little more time to shake out.  Then,
once THEIR market demanded, we'd look at installing it.
